VCDS Used Dongle Interface Ownership Transfer with VIN upgrade

• Ross-Tech will need to verify with the original owner of the interface that they have truly sold you the interface and that they no longer desire continued support from Ross-Tech. If there is any dispute, your order will be canceled and any monies paid will be refunded.
• The purchase of this Ownership Transfer entitles the purchaser to the support offered to those who purchase a dongle interface directly from Ross-Tech or one of our listed distributors.
• This Ownership Transfer does not include phone tech support for vehicle-related questions. It does however make the new owner eligible to purchase that separately:

• This Ownership Transfer does not entitle the purchaser to any written or implied warranty. As the Ross-Tech Warranty states: Ross-Tech warranties are not transferable.
• VCDS registrations/licenses are not transferable. You can sell your interface, but you cannot sell or transfer the ownership rights of the license. Your buyer will be able to use the full version of the software, but your buyer will not be eligible for any support from Ross-Tech just as you have not been eligible for said support. Should you sell your interface, please advise your buyer that you will agree to a transfer ownership from you to them, and that they must pay Ross-Tech for this transfer if they want Ross-Tech’s support.
• Ownership Transfers are processed during normal business hours only. All orders are processed on a first-in, first-out basis. A confirmation email cannot be issued until your order has been reviewed by a human being during normal business hours and a response is received from the original owner.

Upon receipt of the response of the original owner and assuming the information (including the serial number you provide in this order) is correct and verifiable, your ownership transfer will be confirmed by e-mail no later than the end of the business day following the original owners’ permission to transfer. It is in your best interest to speak to the party from who you buy the interface, requesting that they respond to Ross-Tech’s inquiry in a timely manner.
